One day I was thinking about faith and religion and spirituality. It came to mind that we use these words together all the time and yet they have very different meanings. Faith, believing in something you can-not see. "I have faith in God" yet I can-not see God or at least that is what I am told. What I can see is the results of the faith, all of creation. Still yet an atheist can also see all of creation so what is the difference? It is being a part of a living breathing cosmic energy sharing the ups and downs with a higher power. Believing that the spark of life is eternal and that when we leave this plane we move on and experience new and wondrous things. By applying the values of our faith we establish our Spirituality. That is personal, and belongs only to each individual. The results of that spirituality is what our outer image displays. That what others see in us, the level of which is determined by the effect of or height of that spiritual being within our selves. Religion is man-made regulation of cause and effect. Some of which are applicable to set boundaries for those who need them, or offer a place to share like ideas on a specific doctrine of faith. Even though it is not necessary to belong to a religious group to believe in a God, not all religious or considered religious groups believe in a God, but rather a Goddess. Does all of this seem complicated to you? It is and that is what makes it so hard to keep up with all of it. This Rule - That Rule and don't forget to dot your i's. So lets simplify Faith is belief. Spirituality is the result of your faith. Religion is a place to share with like thinkers, your faith and spirituality. The end result should be a way of life. Is it for you?
